Farscape stars Ben Browder as Cmdr. John Crichton, an astronaut whose experimental space mission goes awry when he is sucked into a "wormhole," a popular concept in several science-fiction series. When he emerges on the other end, lost and out of contact with Earth, he is drawn into a huge ship named Moya. The prickly and initially hostile creatures he meets on-board soon cause him to mutter, "Boy, was Spielberg ever wrong." The aliens are:
Gen. Ka D'Argo (Anthony Simcoe), a ferocious Luxan warrior who looks a little and acts a lot like the Klingons on Star Trek.
Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan (Virgina Hey), a Delvian priestess who has blue skin and is 812 years old. She is still sexy, soft-voiced and sweet.
Officer Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black), a Sebacean soldier who was a member of the Peacekeepers, who are brutal and overbearing villains despite their pacific name.
Rygel XVI (puppeteer John Eccleston), Dominar of the Hynerian Empire, who ruled 600 billion subjects until he was deposed by his evil cousin. He is 26 inches tall, with huge lips and nostrils located between his eyes, and he is this series' comic relief.
Pilot (puppeteer Sean Masterson) is a head and torso floating in a transparent box. He is the control center for Moya, which is a living ship. His orders are carried out by a number of DRDs (diagnostic repair droids), brown, turtle-shaped busybodies who scoot around on the decks of the ship.
