Misc. Info: This Cluny tapestry, a noble woman plays a portable organ assisted by her handmaiden, is called "Hearing". One of the six medieval tapestries in the set.

This was a 1996 Christmas present from my sister.   Unfortunately, the postman left the package just inside the fence line instead of outside and her two rottweiler/mix dogs got ahold of it.   The dogs spread the contents around the yard leaving the canvas with several large gash-like rips.   She wanted to throw the canvas and six-strand floss away, but I said I liked a challenge so I got out my crochet hook, some tatting thread, and scrap canvas to sutured it together.   Feeling bad about what had happened she ordered me a different Cluny tapestry needlepoint kit (same set) and this time she made sure the dogs were locked in the back yard until after it was delivered.   If you would like to see the repair work, checkout Backside and suture closeup .

This is my only UFO (unfinished object) I basically discovered that needlepoint really isn't my cup-of-tea; so this project will get worked on when I'm sick and tired of looking at my other Works In Progress.
